Dates D.O.: Specific 1985 and absolute 1991.
Belonging provinces: Valladolid and Palencia.
Soils: Miocene, highlighting the Quaternary that is comprised by alluvial sediments from the Pisuerga River, clayey, and pebble (gravel)
Climate: A continental-like climate featuring Atlantic influences and great thermal oscillations. Intense summer drought, harsh and long-lasting winters with frequent frosts and fogs are predominant in this climate.
Grape varieties: Tinta país, Grey Garnacha, Garnacha Tinta (indigenous), Albillo, Verdejo and Viura.
Elevation and Rainfall: 600-700 metres and 400-litres/ m2

Claderona and Conde Ansurez
A winery established in Cigales (Valladolid) in 1960. Nowadays, it has become a leading winery in this designation.
Its old vineyard is planted to 105 hectares of Tempranillo variety (Tinto Fino).
The winery holds up-to-date facilities designed to leading to tradition.
Its capacity accounts for 2 million litres with a barrels depot that includes 800 of American oak barrels with a yearly 25% of a stocks turnover.
