Belonging Provinces: Valladolid and Zamora.
Soils: The soil, from the Tertiary Era, is constituted
by degradation of sandstone, clay and conglomerate.
These develop on the surface resulting in brownish-grey
limy
soil.
Climate: An extreme continental-like climate having
Atlantic influences. A climate characterized by aridness,
rigorous
winters and short summers with significant thermal
oscillations between day and night.
Grape Varieties: Tinta de Toro, Garnacha, Malvasía
and Verdejo.
Elevation and Rainfall: 620-750 metres and 350-400
litres/ m2.
Muruve y MiralMonte
This winery was established in Toro (Zamora) in 1920,
the first found at the comarca then.
Its vineyard is planted to120 hectares of Tinta de Toro
grape varietal. Yields are low in benefit of quality.
Up-to-date facilities designed to leading to tradition.
The cellar has 3 million litres capacity.
Its barrels depot includes 700 American and French oak
barrels with a yearly 25% of a stocks turnover.
