Grape varieties 100% Tinta of Toro.
Winemaking Fermentation is traditionally carried out in stainless steel vats with 100% de-stemmed grape. Three times a day must is pumped over at a controlled temperature of 28-30 °C during 12-15 days. Subsequently, wine is run-off and left to settling before barrels are filled.
Barrel aging Between 8 and 12 months of barrel ageing. Wine is racked every 3 months.
Bottling aging Wine remains a minimum of 6 months aging in bottles before being marketed. They are kept lying down on metallic scantling in an isolated facility where temperature never exceeds 18 °C
Barrel type 95% of American oak and 5% French oak
Alcohol content 13,5% - 14% Vol.

Colour Ruby red, well covered, clean and brilliant.
Aroma Complex, elegant bouquet featuring the aromas characteristic of ageing in good wood, along with resinous nuances and a fruity base.
Mouth Well-rounded, full-flavoured, complex and lively wine with great character. Featuring a long-lasting taste and perfectly blended tannins. The wine´s ageing results in complex, subtle sensations at the back of the nose.
Serving temperature 16 °C - 18 °C
Recommended for Meats, roasts and mature cheeses.
