Grape varieties 100 % Tinto de Toro (Tempranillo)
Winemaking A traditional process using stainless steel vats of 30,000 kilograms capacity and 100% de-stemmed grape. Must is pumped over 3 times a day of 30 minutes each. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 28 to 30 °C during 20 days. After a run-off wine is left for decanting until barrels are filled.
Barrel aging Wine ages14 months in barrels and is racked every 3 months.
Bottling aging Bottles remain 8 months lying down in metallic crates in isolated facility at a maximum temperature of 16 °C before are labelled and launched on the market.
Barrel type 90% of American oak and 10% French oak
Alcohol content 13,5% Vol.

 

 

 

 

Wine-tasting card

Colour deep cherry colour with violet hints, covered and brilliant.
Aroma creamy oaky hints, fine woods and fruit background of blackberries and black fruits in general. It offers a great deal of harmony between wood and fruit, which develops into an elegant wine.
In the mouth it is fleshy, powerful and well structured enhancing the ripe fruit notes that are softened by its ageing time in fine oaky woods. It is warm and velvety.
Serving temperatur: 16 - 18 °C
